This illustration was created for a dear friend’s editorial piece, a review for “the first glass beach album” by glass beach which was independently published. this record holds a dear place in my heart, and it persists as one of the very few to encapsulate exactly how it feels to love and survive while living on the outskirts of society’s norms. the colors were picked from the cover of the record, and the sketch was done primarily in charcoal and transferred to photoshop.
